Almaverde Bio ushers in packaging breakthrough. The entire range of frozen vegetables is now packaged in compostable materials.
The wrappers of 100% Italian organic vegetables, processed and packaged within a few hours of harvesting, can be disposed of in the wet fraction of the recycling collection, along with food remains.
The well-known Italian organic brand-founded by Fruttagel and distributed in the large-scale retail trade-will usher in fall 2019 with more novelties, all presented at Anuga, the biennial benchmark event for the international food & beverage sector (Cologne, 5-9.10.19).
Indeed, the following new products from Almaverde Bio arrive on the shelf:
– 100% Italian Almaverde Bio organic tomato pulp and puree in Tetra Recart® packaging, made from renewable and fully recyclable materials,
– fruit smoothies in 125 ml brik with a high percentage of fruit, all Italian (peach 95 percent, apple 95 percent, strawberry and banana 97 percent),
– the 500 ml glass 100% fruit juices (strawberry and banana with apple, grape, elderberry and aronia, pear with apple, peach with apple).
