Granarolo relaunches its ecommerce with an anti-waste promotional campaign active until 10/31/20.

The agribusiness cooperative giant launched a free home delivery service in March to offer support to homebound people during the lockdown, the elderly in particular.

Granarolo, the online commissary

The emergencyecommerce activated by Granarolo then continued until June, when it was transformed into a dedicated portal, limited, however, to cities in northern Italy (400 ZIP codes served) and with delivery for a fee (€4.90 up to €30 in spending, then free).

Spacciogranarolo.it
is organized into 6 sections to simplify purchasing choices. Three stand out for originality:

the ‘just in time’ area offers food close to its shelf life(expiration date or TMC) at a discounted price, combining savings and combating food waste,

The ‘right price’ section, for products on offer,

‘right size’, finally, for family-size or large packages (e.g., 1 kg of cottage cheese).

An exemplary ecommerce

The assortment has more than 500 references. These include numerous Granarolo-branded offerings outside of dairy. In fact, after industrial acquisitions in 2015, the cooperative’s brand also appears on dry pasta, baked goods, vegetable beverages and delicatessen, eggs, etc.

Exemplary information correctness of the portal. A list of ingredients, with allergens highlighted, and the nutrition table is given for each product. The offer valid until the end of October consists of a 25 percent discount and is activated by entering the code GRANAROLO25.
