Erode le arterie dall&#8217;interno e ne provoca l&#8217;ispessimento e l&#8217;ostruzione, aumentando il rischio di infarto e ictus.<\/p>\n<p>La forma pi\u00f9 diffusa \u00e8 il diabete di tipo 2 (o diabete alimentare), ove l&#8217;eccesso di zucchero\u00a0nel sangue \u00e8 determinato da un cattivo stile vita: abitudini alimentari errate e vita sedentaria, a loro volta causa di sovrappeso.<\/p>\n<p>La stretta correlazione tra obesit\u00e0 e diabete \u00e8 nota: le due nuove emergenze sanitarie mondiali viaggiano in parallelo nei paesi &#8216;avanzati&#8217; e in quelli in cui lo sviluppo economico coincide con la pessima tendenza a mangiare di pi\u00f9, ma male.
