E le iniziative per la <strong>educazione<\/strong>&nbsp;nell&#8217;ambito&nbsp;<strong>alimentare<\/strong> della popolazione, in particolare dei bambini, sono il veicolo primario per aumentare la conoscenza e la consapevolezza del ruolo che svolge il cibo nel mantenere un buono stato di salute. Tematiche centrali a Expo 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Una <span style=\"text-align: justify;\">corretta&nbsp;<\/span>nutrizione, come quella italiana, che fornisca&nbsp;energia e nutrienti nella&nbsp;giusta misura&nbsp;all&#8217;organismo, si \u00e8 dimostrata&nbsp;un eccellente metodo di prevenzione delle malattie non trasmissibili, quali diabete, cardiopatie, ipertensione, cancro. In questa direzione, a&nbsp;riscuotere maggiore consenso nella comunit\u00e0 scientifica internazionale&nbsp;\u00e8 la Dieta mediterranea, che in Italia rappresenta il regime tradizionale.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gli alimenti che la compongono sono naturalmente <em>funzionali<\/em>, apportano benefici e prevengono le cosiddette&nbsp;patologie del benessere, effetto di un&nbsp;cattivo modello di nutrizione. Sulla tavola&nbsp;italiana brilla l&#8217;olio extravergine di oliva, protettivo per le vie cardiovascolari. E, accanto a frutta e verdura, le cui propriet\u00e0 salutari sono note, svetta&nbsp;il pesce azzurro, ricco di Omega 3.
