Aumentano infatti sia i consumi, sia le aree agricole dedicate. Il bio rappresenta oggi in USA il 5% del mercato alimentare, con un il fatturato di US$ 43 miliardi (dati OTA,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>Organic Trade Association<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Nel vecchio continente <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">il biologico continua a cresce a due cifre in Francia (+20%) e Germania (+10). Appena pi\u00f9 lieve la crescita in Inghilterra (+7%), forse anche a merito della Brexit, e in Svezia (+7%, dopo exploit di +30-40% registrati negli ultimi 4 anni, fino a raggiungere un fatturato di \u20ac 2,6 miliardi).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>La distribuzione moderna<\/b>\u00a0guida il successo del bio, non solo in Italia (v. paragrafo successivo) ma anche nei paesi ove il consumo di alimenti biologici \u00e8 ben radicato. In Germania &#8211; ove il settore fattura 9,48 miliardi e si \u00e8 registrata una crescita media del 9,9% &#8211; le vendite in Gdo sono salite del 14,6%. In Austria, storico produttore e consumatore di alimenti bio, ben il 75% degli 1,6 miliardi di euro di vendite transita per la Gdo.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\" align=\"LEFT\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Italia_la_GDO_traina_la_crescita_del_bio\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Italia, la GDO traina la crescita del bio<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>In Italia il bio continua a crescere a due cifre<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, +14% in valore nel 2016. Il merito va\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>in primis<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0alla GDO (+16%) protagonista indiscussa grazie alla democratizzazione del bio\u00a0sui prodotti a marca del distributore\u00a0(<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">MDD<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, o\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>private label<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Altres\u00ec significativo<\/b>\u00a0l\u2019aumento di fatturato dei produttori-rivenditori (mercatini, vendita diretta anche tramite consegne a domicilio, +13%). Viceversa ben pi\u00f9 fiacca (+3,5%) l\u2019andatura delle \u2018oreficerie del biologico\u2019, i negozi specializzati alla portata di pochi.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Il fatturato complessivo<\/b>\u00a0degli alimenti biologici in Italia nel 2016 &#8211; incluse\u00a0le forniture a ristoranti e\u00a0<i>catering &#8211;\u00a0<\/i>\u00e8 stimato in 3 miliardi di euro (dati Nielsen e AssoBio).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 align=\"LEFT\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Piu_terreni_senza_pesticidi\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Pi\u00f9 terreni senza pesticidi<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Aumentano in Italia le aziende<\/b>\u00a0agricole e i terreni vocati al biologico.\u00a0Pesticidi, no grazie. Nel 2016, altri\u00a0300mila ettari sono stati convertiti al biologico, con particolare dinamismo al Sud, in Sicilia, Puglia e Calabria. Le coltivazioni bio di ortaggi sono aumentate del 49%, del 32 quelle di cereali, del 23% gli uliveti e i vigneti. Delle 72.154 imprese che vendono o producono prodotti biologici, quasi 56.000 sono aziende agricole.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Sulle orme dell&#8217;Italia<\/strong>, diversi altri Paesi spiccano nella conversione dei terreni all&#8217;agricoltura biologica.\u00a0Bulgaria (+35%), Croazia (+23%) e Cipro (+18%) contribuiscono in Europa all\u2019estensione delle coltivazioni bio che a livello planetario si stimano accresciute di\u00a05 milioni di ettari nel 2016 (dati FiBL).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>In controtendenza<\/strong> Grecia, Polonia e Romania, ove il ritorno di fiamma dei pesticidi ha investito circa 130.000 ettari.
