(1)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">I partecipanti allo studio, suddivisi in 3 gruppi, hanno seguito tre schemi dietetici,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; dieta mediterranea integrata con olio extravergine di oliva\u00a0(EVOO),<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; dieta mediterranea integrata anche con\u00a0noci,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; dieta di controllo con indicazioni volte a ridurre gli apporti di grassi.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Dopo quasi 5 anni<\/b>\u00a0i ricercatori hanno esaminato la ricorrenza degli attacchi di cuore, ictus o morte per malattie\u00a0cardiovascolari. Su 288 casi, la minore incidenza (83) \u00e8 stata riscontrata nel gruppo che ha seguito la dieta mediterranea con EVOO e\u00a0noci. Al secondo posto (96) la \u2018<i>MedDiet<\/i>\u2019 con olio extravergine d\u2019oliva, e infine (109) il gruppo di controllo. Al quale la generica riduzione dei grassi, evidentemente, non ha giovato granch\u00e9.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Dieta mediterranea e stile di vita, un patrimonio Unesco per la buona salute<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>La dieta mediterranea<\/b>\u00a0\u00e8 stata iscritta dall\u2019UNESCO\u00a0nel 2013 tra i\u00a0Patrimoni Immateriali Culturali dell\u2019Umanit\u00e0. Un modello alimentare basato su\u00a0cereali, olio extravergine d\u2019oliva, frutta e\u00a0verdura di stagione, semi e frutta secca. Un equilibrato apporto di pesce, latticini e carne, moderato apporto\u00a0di vino.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>L\u2019Unesco<\/b>\u00a0attribuisce valore al modello mediterraneo non solo per quanto attiene agli alimenti inseriti nella dieta ma anche per la socializzazione, la convivialit\u00e0 e uno stile di vita attivo.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\">\u2018<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>In conclusione<\/b><\/i><b>\u2019<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; secondo i ricercatori &#8211; \u2018<i>in questo studio di prevenzione primaria che coinvolge persone ad alto rischio di eventi cardiovascolari, quelli assegnati a una dieta mediterranea senza restrizioni, integrata con grassi monoinsaturi e polinsaturi come olio extravergine di oliva e frutta secca, hanno avuto un tasso inferiore di\u00a0eventi cardiovascolari\u00a0rispetto a quelli assegnati a una dieta a ridotto contenuto di grassi. I nostri risultati supportano un effetto benefico della dieta mediterranea per la prevenzione primaria delle malattie cardiovascolari<\/i>\u2019.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\">\u2018<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>Questi risultati<\/b><\/i><i>\u00a0supportano i benefici precedentemente riportati della dieta mediterranea per la riduzione del rischio cardiovascolare da uno studio randomizzato. I nostri risultati sono anche coerenti con quelli di precedenti studi osservazionali\u2019<\/i>, affermano Ram\u00f3n Estruch e colleghi.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Precedenti studi<\/b>\u00a0del resto mostravano come la dieta mediterranea abbinata a uno stile di vita sano fosse associata a:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; riduzione del 50% della mortalit\u00e0 prematura, \u2018<i>all-causes<\/i>\u2019 e \u2018<i>cause-specific<\/i>\u2019\u00a0(Kim TB et al., 292: 1433-1439, Jama, 2004),<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8211; diminuzione di LDL aterogeniche e riduzione della loro citotossicit\u00e0 contro i macrofagi (Hernaez A et al., 61 (9),\u00a0Mol Nutr Food Res, 2017).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Olio extravergine d\u2019oliva e noci, gli alleati della salute cardiovascolare\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>L&#8217;olio extravergine di oliva e le noci<\/b>\u00a0si confermano essere preziose\u00a0fonti di \u2018grassi buoni\u2019.\u00a0Come gi\u00e0 illustrato in uno studio pubblicato su\u00a0<i>Am J Clin Nutr<\/i>\u00a0(2017), il composto fenolico\u00a0<i>Homovanillyl alcohol<\/i>\u00a0(HVAL) presente nell\u2019olio extravergine d\u2019oliva sembra essere\u00a0il fattore chiave responsabile della protezione\u00a0della\u00a0salute cardiovascolare.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>L\u2019autore del citato studio<\/b>\u00a0Haley Hughes, in un&#8217;intervista a\u00a0<i>Olive Oil Times<\/i><i><u>,<\/u><\/i>\u00a0ha spiegato\u00a0il valore dell\u2019EVOO\u00a0e\u00a0i fattori nutrizionali alla base dei risultati:\u00a0\u2018<i>Abbiamo bisogno di aumentare i grassi polinsaturi tra cui olio extravergine d\u2019oliva, noci\u00a0e pesce nella nostra dieta\u00a0perch\u00e9 forniscono\u00a0tanti benefici per la salute.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>Numerosi studi dimostrano<\/b><\/i><i>\u00a0come questi grassi provenienti da fonti densamente nutritive sostengano il cuore, riducano la pressione sanguigna, migliorino la salute del cervello, incoraggino la crescita cellulare e promuovano la saziet\u00e0.
