La segnalazione di GIFT (Great Italian Food Trade<\/i>) sulle irregolarit\u00e0 delle etichette di\u00a0pet food<\/i>\u00a0a marchio\u00a0Monge\u00a0ha stimolato il ravvedimento operoso del presidente della societ\u00e0. Il quale si \u00e8 fatto carico degli errori commessi e si \u00e8 attivato all\u2019istante per porvi rimedio. Un gesto esemplare, da parte di Domenico Monge, al quale va attestazione di stima da parte di chi scrive. \u00c8 questa la cifra di un vero\u00a0Leader<\/i>\u00a0che in questo modo fa scuola in Italia.\u00a0Chapeau!<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Monge, la segnalazione di Great Italian Food Trade all\u2019Antitrust<\/span><\/h4>\n

GIFT, Great Italian Food Trade<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>, ha esteso al\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>pet food<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0le proprie attivit\u00e0 di indagine sulla legalit\u00e0 e correttezza delle pratiche commerciali. Dopo avere analizzato e denunciato le gravi irregolarit\u00e0 delle etichette di alimenti per cani e gatti a marchio Ultima<\/span><\/span><\/span>, del colosso spagnolo Affinity, si \u00e8 proceduto all\u2019esame\u00a0di alcune referenze del\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>leader<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0italiano di settore, Monge SpA.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019analisi<\/b>\u00a0ha riguardato tre linee di\u00a0pet food<\/i>\u00a0umido e secco a marchio Monge:<\/span><\/p>\n

– alimento completo per cani (bocconcini, umido in busta) Linea Grill ‘Merluzzo<\/i>‘, ‘Manzo<\/i>‘, ‘Salmone<\/i>‘, ‘Pollo e tacchino<\/i>‘, ‘Agnello e verdure<\/i>‘, ‘Maiale<\/i>‘,<\/span><\/p>\n

– alimento completo per cani (crocchette, \u2018dry food<\/i>\u2019) \u2018Bwild Cinghiale<\/i>\u2019,<\/span><\/p>\n

– alimento completo per gatti (crocchette, \u2018dry food<\/i>\u2019) \u2018Le Chat, Pollo e riso indoor<\/i>\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le criticit\u00e0\u00a0<\/b>riscontrate erano numerose. L\u2019etichettatura dei mangimi risultava ingannevole in relazione a immagini, testi, denominazioni dei prodotti e degli ingredienti. Con frequenti omissioni dei QUID (\u2018Quantity of Ingredients Declaration\u2019<\/i>) – in relazione a ingredienti caratterizzanti che venivano richiamati in appositi\u00a0claim<\/i>\u00a0– e indicazioni salutistiche vietate.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019Autorit\u00e0 Garante per la Concorrenza e il Mercato\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>(AGCM, c.d.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Antitrust<\/span><\/span><\/span>) \u00e8 stata quindi interessata della vicenda. Con una segnalazione<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0che lo scrivente ha altres\u00ec notificato ad alcuni gruppi della GDO (Grande Distribuzione Organizzata). In considerazione della responsabilit\u00e0 del distributore di garantire la piena conformit\u00e0 alle norme vigenti di tutti i prodotti da esso commercializzati. Siano essi alimenti, mangimi e <\/span><\/span><\/span>pet food<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>o altri prodotti di consumo (c.d. FMCG,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Fast Moving Consumer Goods<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>). (1)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Monge, la marca di un vero\u00a0leader<\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

La \u2018<\/b>meticolosa disamina\u2019\u00a0<\/b><\/i>delle etichette da parte di GIFT, cos\u00ec come riconosciuta dalla stessa Monge, ha prodotto i migliori effetti che si potessero prevedere. Il presidente del gruppo ha riconosciuto le proprie responsabilit\u00e0, comunicando che a seguito delle nostre note il processo di revisione delle etichette \u2018ha ricevuto un rinnovato impulso e accelerazione\u2019.<\/i>\u00a0Nell\u2019occasione, il gruppo aggiorner\u00e0 le confezioni rispetto all\u2019ultima versione del registro UE degli additivi per mangimi (12.3.19) e ai regolamenti che si applicheranno dall\u20191.1.20. (2)<\/span><\/p>\n

Una risposta esemplare<\/b>\u00a0che riconosce e assume la responsabilit\u00e0 dei molteplici inganni e violazioni di legge, attivandosi all\u2019istante per rimediarvi ma anche per allineare le etichette dei prodotti in anticipo rispetto alle norme che avranno applicazione dal 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018ln merito alle altre non conformit\u00e0\u00a0<\/b><\/i>rilevate, si sottolinea che la referenza \u00e8 in questi giorni oggetto di profonda e completa attivit\u00e0 di revisione, al fine di emendare ogni non conformit\u00e0, rinnovando e accelerando l’impegno rivolto alla compliance, e rinnovando l’impegno e gli sforzi che nostra azienda opera per perseguire i pi\u00f9 elevati livelli di qualit\u00e0 e di tutela del benessere degli animali domestici.\u2019\u00a0<\/i>(Domenico Monge, PEC a Great Italian Food Trade, 12.3.19)<\/span><\/p>\n

Una lezione da condividere<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

La decisione assunta<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0dalla propriet\u00e0 del primo gruppo industriale italiano nel settore pet food costituisce\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>in primis<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0una vittoria\u00a0per i consumAttori e la legalit\u00e0, che la nostra societ\u00e0 benefit Wiise Srl (titolare dei siti GIFT, Great Italian Food Trade, e FARE<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span>) umilmente ambisce a tutelare. Ma \u00e8 soprattutto un grande esempio e una lezione, per l\u2019industria italiana e internazionale. Il ravvedimento operoso rappresenta senza dubbio la soluzione pi\u00f9 saggia da adottare nella gestione crisi. Poich\u00e9 i problemi ricorrono, tanto pi\u00f9 in organizzazioni complesse che gestiscono moltitudini di referenze a elevata rotazione. Ma \u00e8 la tempestivit\u00e0 di una risposta proattiva a distinguere un\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>leader<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Un precedente<\/b>\u00a0degno di nota risale al febbraio 2010, quando 2,3 milioni di vetture Toyota vennero richiamate per un problema al sistema frenante che aveva causato incidenti anche letali. Nel momento pi\u00f9 difficile nella storia di un\u2019industria fondata il 1933 Akio Toyoda – presidente dell\u2019omonimo colosso industriale – assunse su di s\u00e9 ogni responsabilit\u00e0, impegnandosi pubblicamente<\/a> a risolvere subito i problemi individuati.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Toyota has, for the past few years, been expanding its business rapidly. Quite frankly, I fear the pace at which we have grown may have been too quick.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019augurio<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>e il monito\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>sono ora rivolti a tutti coloro che continuano a negare l\u2019evidenza dei fatti, provando a minimizzarli o addirittura a minacciare chi promuove la legalit\u00e0 con attivismo e libera informazione<\/span><\/span><\/span>. Che la lezione sia di aiuto anche alle autorit\u00e0 che finora hanno trascurato la vigilanza su settori cruciali, come l\u2019alimentare e il\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>pet food<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>. Per la tutela dei consumatori e dei mercati di cui essi sono protagonisti, anzi veri padroni<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
