La ricerca europea<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Lo studio scientifico<\/strong>\u00a0condotto dal JRC (<em>Joint Research Centre<\/em>)\u00a0ha valutato il profilo nutrizionale di 2691 alimenti confezionati rivolti a un pubblico giovanile. Il campione \u00e8 stato estratto dalla banca dati Euromonitor, considerando i prodotti pi\u00f9 venduti in 20 Paesi membri.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gli alimenti\u00a0sono stati confrontati<\/strong> con due standard nutrizionali stabiliti per valutare la loro idoneit\u00e0 degli alimenti a essere promossi presso i bambini. Il primo sistema,\u00a0pi\u00f9 indulgente, \u00e8 stato definito da un&#8217;organizzazione che rappresenta <em>Big Food<\/em> e i\u00a0pubblicitari in Europa. (2) Il secondo, pi\u00f9 rigoroso, \u00e8 invece quello dell&#8217;OMS (Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanit\u00e0).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il 68% dei prodotti\u00a0<\/strong>risulta avere profili nutrizionali squilibrati. Sono perci\u00f2 inadatti a contribuire a una\u00a0dieta equilibrata nella fascia di popolazione considerata. I ricercatori, in particolare, hanno esaminato 5 categorie di prodotti:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; cereali per la prima colazione<\/strong>. Troppi zuccheri e poche fibre alimentari, a dispetto delle apparenze,<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; yogurt<\/strong>. Troppo zucchero e grassi in eccesso, sia totali che saturi,<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; piatti pronti<\/strong>, preparazioni a base di carne e di pesce o molluschi. Troppo sale e calorie eccessive.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Profili_nutrizionali_la_forbice_Big_Food-WHO\"><\/span>Profili nutrizionali, la forbice\u00a0<em>Big Food-<\/em>WHO<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>I profili nutrizionali<\/strong>\u00a0elaborati da\u00a0<em>Big Food<\/em>\u00a0e dai pubblicitari europei comportano la bocciatura, in media, del 48% dei prodotti. Con un picco massimo per le carni trasformate (65%) e uno minimo per gli yogurt (29%). Con l&#8217;applicazione del nuovo standard, varato nel 2018 e applicato da fine 2019, la soglia degli alimenti bocciati sale al 55%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lo standard\u00a0WHO<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>World Health Organization<\/em>) di riferimento per valutare l\u2019idoneit\u00e0 degli alimenti a venire pubblicizzati presso\u00a0i minori, invece, comporta la bocciatura del\u00a068% dei prodotti esaminati. Con un apice dell&#8217;80% per i cereali e un minimo del 31% sul pesce trasformato.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Alimenti_HFSS_una_bomba_a_orologeria\"><\/span>Alimenti HFSS, una bomba a orologeria<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Per arginare l&#8217;epidemia di obesit\u00e0<\/strong>\u00a0e tutelare i giovani europei dal marketing di\u00a0<em>junk food<\/em>, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greatitalianfoodtrade.it\/notizie\/pubblicita-di-cibo-spazzatura-e-alcolici-nessuna-tutela-per-i-bambini-in-ue\">direttiva Ue sui media audiovisivi<\/a>\u00a0si limita a \u2018incoraggiare\u2019 gli Stati membri. Per promuovere l\u2019auto-regolamentazione del settore, limitando l&#8217;esposizione dei bambini alla pubblicit\u00e0 di alimenti e bevande HFSS (<em>High in Fats, Sugar and Sodium<\/em>). Sebbene i drammatici\u00a0dati\u00a0sul dilagare epidemico di obesit\u00e0 infantile\u00a0e malattie correlate dimostrino la totale inefficacia della\u00a0<em>self-regulation<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Come una bomba a orologeria<\/strong>, le cattive ricette dei cibi industriali di oggi produrranno nuovi malati domani. Il cibo spazzatura, in particolare gli alimenti ultraprocessati,\u00a0\u00e8 infatti causa primaria delle malattie croniche non trasmissibili. I c.d.
