I volontari sono stati sottoposti a un periodo preliminare di dieta, per\u00a0standardizzare il campione. (2) Il quale \u00e8 stato suddiviso in due gruppi:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; il primo gruppo<\/strong>\u00a0ha aggiunto alla propria dieta giornaliera\u00a0due mele al giorno\u00a0(340g), con buccia ma senza semi,\u00a0della variet\u00e0 Renetta Canada, coltivate in Trentino e fornite dal Consorzio di cooperative Melinda,<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; il\u00a0gruppo di controllo\u00a0<\/strong>ha invece assunto ogni giorno, in alternativa alle mele, 500ml di una bevanda con\u00a0succo di mela da concentrato (50%),\u00a0acqua e zucchero. Con una quantit\u00e0 complessiva di zuccheri pari a quella delle due mele.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dopo 8 settimane<\/strong>, nel gruppo trattato con le due mele \u00e8 emerso un miglioramento dei fattori di rischio di malattie cardiovascolari, con riduzione dei livelli di colesterolo LDL e un aumento della vasodilatazione microvascolare.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"I_vantaggi_della_mela\"><\/span>I vantaggi della mela<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Tra le mele e le bevande\u00a0<\/strong>a base di frutta corre un abisso nutrizionale, che lo studio in esame ben riassume. Le due renette consumate dai volontari forniscono 8,5g di fibra, contro gli 0,5g della bevanda con succo. Quanto ai polifenoli, le mele impiegate nello studio ne forniscono 990mg, la bevanda 2,5mg. Ma c\u2019\u00e8 anche altro.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>&#8216;<\/strong><em><strong>Sono necessari studi\u00a0<\/strong>[\u2026] per esplorare i potenziali meccanismi, che probabilmente coinvolgeranno la segnalazione BA\u00a0(acido biliare, ndr)\u00a0e\/o piccoli acidi fenolici derivati dai polifenoli della mela, entrambi collegati al metabolismo del microbiota intestinale<\/em>&#8216;, concludono i ricercatori britannici.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mela_e_micromobioma\"><\/span>Mela e micromobioma<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Il microbioma\u00a0intestinale<\/strong> &#8211; vale a dire la comunit\u00e0 di microrganismi che interagisce con il sistema nervoso centrale attraverso l\u2019intestino (detto anche &#8216;secondo cervello&#8217;) per la regolazione di diverse funzioni dell\u2019organismo &#8211;\u00a0sembra essere ancora una volta la chiave che attiva i benefici per la salute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interessante\u00a0sarebbe stato<\/strong> il confronto con mele renette biologiche.
