La nuova soglia &egrave; la met&agrave; di quanto fissato nelle linee guida per una sana alimentazione del 2002. E pur non sostituendo il precedente parere, &egrave; indicata come fonte di ulteriori benefici per la salute.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A suggerire il drastico ridimensionamento dei consumi di zucchero sono due studi scientifici, dichiara la WHO. Una review pubblicata su <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bmj.com\/content\/346\/bmj.e7492\">BMJ <\/a>evidenzia la relazione diretta tra consumo di zucchero, da bevande zuccherate soprattutto, e incremento del peso corporeo. Un altro studio pubblicato sul <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/jdr.sagepub.com\/content\/93\/1\/8\">Journal of Dental Research <\/a>mostra invece il ruolo dello zucchero nella formazione della carie dentale, meno frequente a fronte di una riduzione dei consumi sotto il 5%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La proposta WHO, oggetto di consultazione pubblica fino al 31 marzo 2014, ha gi&agrave; scatenato vari commenti.
