A porre l&#8217;attenzione su questo ulteriore vantaggio della scelta bio &egrave; il rapporto <em><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.centerforfoodsafety.org\/files\/food_climate_report_final_63621.pdf\">Food &amp; Climate: Connecting the Dots, Choosing the Way Forward<\/a><\/em> pubblicato nel marzo 2014 dalla organizzazione non governativa statunitense <em>The Center for Food Safety<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Oltre a eliminare i rischi correlati ai pesticidi &#8211; quali la presenza di residui negli alimenti e la contaminazione delle falde acquifere &#8211; i metodi di produzione biologica si qualificano per il minore consumo di energia fossile, inferiore del 30-50% rispetto a quelli che utilizzano sostanze di sintesi chimica e farmaci veterinari, in agricoltura e in allevamento.&nbsp;In campo agricolo il bio contribuisce alla fertilit&agrave; del suolo, al contrario delle tecniche c.d. convenzionali che invece tendono a impoverirlo.&nbsp;Elementi non trascurabili, considerato che l&#8217;alimentare partecipa complessivamente per il 44-45% alle emissioni di gas serra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I violenti effetti del surriscaldamento del pianeta si manifestano in ogni Continente.
