E rilancia l&#8217;allarme sulla commercializzazione di prodotti nocivi &#8216;Made in USA&#8217;. Pillole e polveri, quasi sempre privi di controlli di sicurezza, proposti con claims che promettono di \u201cbruciare\u201d i grassi, aumentare la massa muscolare e far perdere peso velocemente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Negli USA sono circa 55.000 gli integratori in commercio. Di questi, appena lo 0,7% \u00e8 sottoposto a studi di sicurezza volontari prima della vendita, il Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act del 1994 consente alla FDA di intervenire, e ordinare il ritiro dagli scaffali, soltanto al manifestarsi di eventi avversi.
