(2)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nello studio<\/strong>, condotto presso l\u2019Istituto internazionale di ricerca sulle malattie renali\u00a0(IRRIV) di Vicenza, i ricercatori hanno sviluppato \u2018<em>un modello in vitro di emoadsorbimento per testare il potenziale di rimozione di PFAS tramite trattamento extracorporeo<\/em>\u2019.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pulizia_in_due_ore\"><\/span>Pulizia in due ore<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Per simulare la \u2018pulizia\u2019 del sangue<\/strong> umano, sono stati impiegati quattro litri di acqua altamente contaminata da PFAS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il liquido<\/strong> dopo appena due ore di trattamento con una particolare cartuccia assorbente \u00e8 risultato quasi privo di tutti i 39 composti PFAS ricercati.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018<\/strong><em><strong>Per i composti PFAS<\/strong> con concentrazioni significativamente superiori alla norma, abbiamo osservato un rapporto di rimozione vicino al 90% gi\u00e0 entro i primi 60 min di circolazione, portando all&#8217;eliminazione quasi completa di tutti gli inquinanti a 120 min<\/em>\u2019, scrivono gli autori dello studio.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dalla_teoria_alla_pratica\"><\/span>Dalla teoria alla pratica<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Il passo successivo<\/strong> \u00e8 sperimentare la tecnica in vivo per normalizzare le concentrazioni di PFAS nelle persone esposte all&#8217;inquinamento idrico o ambientale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proprio in Veneto<\/strong>, ove si trova l\u2019Istituto internazionale di ricerca sulle malattie renali, si \u00e8 verificata la pi\u00f9 grave e prolungata contaminazione idrica da PFAS finora accertata al mondo. (3)<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lemergenza_non_e_finita\"><\/span>L\u2019emergenza non \u00e8 finita<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Sebbene siano state adottate misure risolutive<\/strong> per l\u2019acqua potabile, la popolazione della \u2018zona rossa\u2019 veneta rimane esposta ai PFAS attraverso<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; il consumo di alimenti a km zero, coltivati nei suoli contaminati,<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; l\u2019uso di acqua di pozzi privati (contaminati) e<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; lo spargimento di pesticidi, anch\u2019essi con PFAS, che permangono su frutta e verdura, come documentato da PAN Europe.
