Fundraising has begun for Partisan Bitter, a liqueur that boasts a bouquet of precious notes: solidarity and equity, memory and sharing. The initiative is from the Arci club in Fosdinovo – in Lunigiana, Tuscany – and aims to support the Museum of Resistance that the club runs, fund the “Up to the Heart of the Revolt” festival and participate in the project of a collective based in Rimaflow, an occupied factory in Trezzano nel Naviglio, Milan.
It is in the very industrial building in Milan-abandoned by a company that relocated to Poland, leaving 330 workers unemployed-that Amaro Partigiano will be made, according to the recipe of an old Lunigiana workshop and with a selection of nine ingredients inspired by life in the area’s woods during the Resistance.
The crowdfunding is to purchase the equipment needed to produce Partisan Bitter, which can already be tasted in the “experimental” version. A subscription of at least 15 euros is all that is needed to participate. Information and contacts at www.amaropartigiano.it.
